The omnigo team headed to Supercar Fest, joining thousands of automotive enthusiasts, businesses, and operators for one of the UK’s most exciting celebrations of performance vehicles and motoring culture.
Alongside an incredible line-up of supercars, including a Ferrari 812GTS that certainly drew attention throughout the day, the event provided something even more valuable for us: real conversations with the people operating in the automotive sector every day.
At omnigo, our expansion into automotive is about much more than simply providing payment technology. It is about understanding how the industry works, where the friction points sit, and what businesses genuinely need to operate more efficiently.
While supercars naturally bring conversations around speed and performance, what became clear at Supercar Fest is that the same expectations increasingly apply to business operations too.
Automotive businesses are under pressure to move quickly, whether that is managing deposits, workshop payments, vehicle balances, finance transactions, remote payments, or customer handovers. The expectation today is seamless experiences, not only for customers, but for internal teams too.
One theme that consistently came up in conversations throughout the event was reconciliation.
For many automotive businesses, payments are still fragmented across different providers and platforms. One system for online transactions, another for card machines, another for remote payments, often resulting in disconnected reporting, manual admin, and unnecessary time spent reconciling transactions at the end of the day.
Increasingly, operators are looking for simplicity.
One platform. One view of payments. Faster access to funds. Better visibility across the business.
That is where omnigo is focusing its efforts within the automotive space.
Working closely with automotive partners and backed by DOJO technology, Omnigo is helping businesses modernise the way they take payments, creating systems that fit around how the sector actually operates day to day.
Supercar Fest was another important step in that journey.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to speak with us throughout the day. The conversations, insights, and feedback are exactly what continue to shape our approach as we expand further into the automotive sector.
Because the best way to build solutions for an industry is simple: listen to the people in it.
